1. Using Herenzo
You must be 18 or older. Herenzo connects people who need small, local help ("Pings") with people nearby who can do it ("helpers"). Helpers are independent people, not Herenzo employees or agents. Herenzo does not perform tasks and does not guarantee any helper, answer or outcome.
2. Acceptable use
You may not post, accept, share or chat about anything that involves:
- Following, tracking, photographing or watching a specific person
- Hidden filming, recording people without consent, or covert surveillance
- Entering private property without permission
- Work done by minors, or anything unsafe or illegal
- Buying illegal or age-restricted items
- Acting on behalf of a business without its permission
- Paying or being paid outside Herenzo, or sharing phone numbers or payment handles
- Fake reports, fake location, or coordinating with others to mislead
We use automated checks (including AI) to flag possible problems, but a person on our team decides before content is removed. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.
3. Reports, Pulse and Squads
Pulse reports are public and anonymous and expire after 3 hours. Report only what you actually see. Squads are private groups; owners and moderators can remove members, and our team can act on Squad reports.
4. Payments
You pay a paid Ping's reward when you post it, through our payment provider. We hold it until you approve the helper's proof, then it becomes the helper's earnings. Others may chip in to a group Ping; on approval the total is split evenly among the helpers on the team.
5. Helper payouts
Approved earnings can be requested as a cash-out (minimum $5) to PayPal or Venmo. Our team sends payouts manually and may delay or decline a payout while reviewing fraud, disputes or chargebacks. Helpers are responsible for their own taxes.
6. Cancellations & refunds
- Cancel an open Ping before anyone takes it: full refund, including chip-ins.
- A Ping that expires unclaimed: full refund, including chip-ins.
- Report a problem with the proof: our team reviews and either pays the helper(s) or refunds in full.
- Approved Pings are final.
7. Chats
Ping chats close and are deleted about 1 hour after a Ping ends. Together chats are deleted after 3 hours. Records may be kept longer if needed for a dispute, report or legal reason.
8. Reporting & appeals
Use "Report" on any Ping, Squad or member. If we remove your content or account and you disagree, reply to our email to appeal and a different team member will review it.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, Herenzo is not liable for what users do, say or deliver, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the last 12 months. [Lawyer: confirm wording and governing law.]
10. Changes
We may update these terms. We'll show the new date at the top and tell you in the app about important changes.
